That was exactly where I started out, 15 years ago. I wanted to check out plant-based foods, but WITHOUT sacrificing taste, and WITHOUT having to go through HELL to prepare them.

I was an owner of two award winning restaurants in Savannah Ga during my transition to a plant based diet. My career started in the Virgin Islands and brought me to Bali via Paris.

In 2003, my father was diagnosed with ALS.

One of the first decisions he took was to eliminate meat from his diet, to boost his immune system, and boost the quality of the life he had left. I followed him, out of solidarity.

After I moved to Bali, I took up meditation, while experiencing the spiritual magic of Bali. That grew in me a love for all animals in the world.

When we started out as vegans, we were constantly looking for new recipes. Not only for ourselves, but also for our family members and friends.

Over time, we collected over a hundred and fifty different recipes, catering to different flavors, from dozens of professional vegan chefs from 60 of the best restaurants in Bali.

It is these secrets that I want to pass on to you in our new “Bali Vegan Book“.
